Night Games for Eagles in England

(Berkeley, California) 20 July 1999 -- Details of the USA's two-match tour of England were confirmed today, including ticket information for next month's test match at Twickenham.

In a new move for British rugby, the August 21 international will be an evening fixture, kicking off at 7.00 PM and preceded by an afternoon of festivities at one of England's most famous rugby grounds. The RFU has set ticket prices at £25 and £20 and established a ticket hotline in England.

The August 17 midweek match against England A, meanwhile, will be played in Northampton at Franklins Gardens. The Tuesday game will also feature an evening kick-off, at 7.30 PM. Ticket prices are £12 and £8.

The US team will depart for England on August 10. The two games are the Eagles' last before the Rugby World Cup in October.
